Pre Wedding Photoshoot Melbourne: On The Mornington Peninsula
A pre wedding photoshoot in Melbourne is a beautiful way to capture your story before the big day. Most of the couples I work with travel internationally to Melbourne for their pre wedding shoot, with couples coming from all over the world.
For me, pre weddings are such a great way to get creative and explore more of my backyard. Without the pressure of wedding day, you can really take the time to get to those places that are harder to reach. This is where I think you have the best chance of capturing something completely unique.
Pre Wedding Photoshoot Melbourne, with Khoy & Ngan
These two were Melbourne locals, which is aways a nice change up. It gives the chance to highlight the places that are meaningful to their story and show off the city they call home.
They’re having their wedding later this year in Vietnam, but wanted photos they could also use for wedding stationery and day-of signage. We started at the cliffs on the Mornington Peninsula just before sunset. The golden hour light created a soft, dreamy look that perfectly suited their look.
Ngan wore two dresses. The first was a flowy wedding dress with a veil, which created some beatuiful movement on the cliffs. The second was a mini dress, which was lucky as we ended up balancing on fallen logs in a creek in the Otways National Park. They also hired a vintage car, which added a playful and stylish touch.
