Elisabetta & Giuseppe — Bergamo, Italy

There’s something about escaping a Melbourne winter for an Italian summer wedding that never gets old. Elisabetta and Giuseppe got married just outside Bergamo, in the hills near Lake Como, and it was one of my favourite days behind the camera this year. It’s hard to beat a day like this behind the camera.

Italian weddings do things differently. The dance floors alone put most Australian receptions to shame, and the whole day moves with a real warmth and energy that’s hard to describe until you’ve been to one yourself.
